What's with all the posts about paris and France??

I took a quick unscientific poll of the most recent posts and there's a disporportional glean towards Paris/France. Not that I hate France and French people, that's personal and neither here nor there, but... What about the other countries in Europe? To name a few... Latvia, Croatia, Serbia, Albania, Bulgaria, Poland, Austria, Scandianavia 4, etc... Are people on this forum just not open to other great countries??? France sucks!

Perhaps for you, but think of all those other people who enjoy France. That's why all the posts...and also because most of the other countries you name just don't get as many tourists.

Have you been to France?

???? you make no sense....

and since this is a public forum, it just happens that more people are discussing France at this time..other times, it's Italy....or do you think it's some kind of conspiracy to advertise France?

What about all of the posts about Scandinavia. Pounds of posts about Norway and the fjords. Stockholm was noted a lot this summer. Finland managed to forum too.

Lots of posts made it to Spain-maybe almost as much as Italy. Both were written a lot. Austria, Germany and Switzerland had their turn too.

So, coolcamden, have you been sleeping? I just counted my last ten posts. Only two posts were on my list for France specifically.

There's a little snippet from an African song. The text paraphrased is something like this:
Looking above for what is found down below. All of us must remember these few words.

Hi

According to a survey i saw recently France is the country in the world that have most tourists visiting each year. So I guess it is only natural that there is a lot of postings in here about France and Paris.

Paris is the world's most popular destination city for tourists (about 26 million visitors per year), and France is the world's most popular destination country for tourists (about 76 million visitors a year), so it's natural that both would appear often in a forum dealing with European tourism.

There are lots of nice places in Europe, but they just don't do the volume that Paris and France do.

I HATE everything about France.
Hate the country, hate the people.
Hate the Americans who like France.

How much have we given to them, where are they when we needed them?

NOWHERE!>>>

Clearly, coolcamden has issues.

wow.

Ummm, shall we get the airlines to add
cool(really??)camden's name to the no-fly list for France?

I used to think the friendliest people in the world lived in Ireland and Scotland until I visited Paris.

One tends to find what one looks for....

For our first visit to Europe we picked France because of all the positive things we heard about the french people and their country. While some people are mad at france for not going to war in Iraq with dumbya bush, we are not!
