the zillionith such complaint - who is running that circus?

these complaints have been here for years now.

Total incompetence.

I'd put some Fodorites i know in charge of the site and all would be well.

Still think there's a cottage business for folks who act as intermediary for a small fee help folks book on trenitalia.com

It's government owned. It's a monopoly. Why would they care if they even have a website? Are you going to take a bus between Venice and Rome if Trenitalia doesn't even have a website?

Hi S,

Sometimes the response from trenitalia ends up in your spam folder.

Have you tried opening an account at yahoo or hotmail and registering from there?

What's your itinerary?

But their ticket machines work so well, don't they Pal? At least on that other post you said any idiot could use them.

Yes dookie - which is mind-boggling why the trenitalia.com site sucks so much - mind boggling even for an idiot.

meant to add - why can't they just take the machines and put them online and then you could print out your own ticket in a minute or so just like you can in Italy.

Pay a little more and buy your tix from RailEurope. They are reliable.

And take the iJourneys iPod walking tours through Italy's cities. We're taken them all and my husband is addicted.
He listens once we get home as well to "relive the experience"!
