What place/activity was your teen's favorite in Germany?

Starting trip planning for a family of four with two teens, 14 and 17, and would like to know what your teens liked most.

Let them help with the planning and decide by themselves what they want to see - they are old enough to read a guide book and assemble some information about the places they are visiting.

Fun Forests. They are everywhere, also in the Netherlands and France. Great for grown-ups too.

White water rafting is fun too.
Also some of the really good pool complexes with wave pools, etc.

From Baden-Baden hike up to and take the Merkur Bergbahn to the top of the mountain, hike down on one of several trails and spend a few hours at the Caracalla Spa. My daughter and I did this and can't wait to do it again ! www.caracalla.de and www.stadtwerke-baden-baden.de

Look at bavaria bensw site - www.bensbauernhof.com

Some of the trip reports have trips that were taken with kids. Also great ideas on places to stay that will be budget friendly
