What other discussion sites are good?
I've really gotten lots of great tips from this site as I prepare for a 3 week family trip to France, Switzerland & Germany this summer.

Are there other sites you use that have great information like this one from fellow travelers?

This site is a "ten";

www.lonelyplanet.com (Thorntree) is a six and caters to a slightly younger, lower-budget audience.

www.slowtrav.com (or is it now slowtalk.com perhaps?) is an 8, not so much for its message board, but for its users' reviews of self-catering accommodation, but it has its own niche appeal.

Best wishes,

Rex
For information and discussion on France... and all things French, visit the Francophile Forum. There are discussions about itineraries, transportation, food, hotels and restaurants, etc.

http://forums.delphiforums.
com/pbprovence

The message board part of www.slowtrav.com is now found at www.slowtalk.com. Everything else (reviews, etc.) remains at www.slowtrav.com. I rate both sites a definite 10.

www.brama.com - good message board for travellers

In spite of the glitches, this site is much better designed, and seems to be more frequently used, than the other major travel boards.
