I know it’s a broad question, but what would you dont want to miss while travelling in Hungary in summer ? We enjoy big cities, but also quaint place and natural wonders

Budapest itself--the Parliament and Fisherman's Bastion, the Gellert or Rudas baths, the House of Terror and Memento Park for the remains of Communism.

I've never understood why, trip after trip, you refuse to consult a guidebook. Do you have no access to a library? Can you not order one? You would learn SO much more than you can through responses on this forum -- and I say that even while lauding the willingness of Fodorites to provide useful information!

We loved the grand coffee houses, good for coffee and cake or a meal. The ones we saw were very ornate.

We read guidebooks but they are not better than forum. It’s still ideas from travellers.
