Tough question! Love the adventure of being somewhere new & different, where things aren't the same as at home. Love history, architecture, "culture", and so on. Love scenery, the outdoors, flora & fauna of the region. Love to walk, hike, meet the people. Like a comfortable place to stay and good eats. I guess I'm a greedy traveler - I want it all!

I agree with an above post that there are places you travel to for a vacation and those that are for an adventure. I don't like to spend an entire holiday on the beach. A few days sunning is great, but after that I want to get out and about and see the sights!
