Portugal June 2017

We are three families travelling to Portugal the last two weeks of June.( 9 persons) We will have about 3 weeks. We would like to travel for one week and then rent a large comfortable home with pool for two weeks.
We are concerened that it is not too hot. Temperatures in the mid twenties centigrade are fine. We do enjoy exploring and would have vehicles using the house as our central spot. We enjoy history, walking, cycling and the sea, and places off the beaten track.
Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Not knowing your budget, you should check VRBO (www.vrbo.com) or one of the other sites dealing with vacation villas with pools. There are vacation rentals available all along the coast from Northern Portugal to the Algarve.

If you want something a little more upscale, the try Luxury Retreats (www.luxuryretreats.com).

Among the vacation rental websites, a relative newcomer is www.housetrip.com - we have used it on several continents and will have one of their properties in a couple of weeks in Lisbon. It is now owned by Tripadvisor.

You should definitely spend a night or two in Porto while you are there!

Hi. This site (www.homeaway.pt) is very used by Portuguese to rent holiday home, I've booked a few times and had no problems. If you need help or have any questions about any location contact me I'll help.
