What is good price for OW TK LONDON to NY in May?

I am taking a transatlantic cruise in April this year. I will need to find flight tickets to return on May 8. The cruise company is offering on for $379. I have never been to Europe before and I'm not sure what would be a good price. Please let me know what you have paid in the recent past or if $379 seems like a good price. Thanks.

Good price, especially if it's non-stop. The lowest fare I can find is a AerLingus/Continental itinerary for $358 but with a transit in Dublin.

$379 seems like it's worth it to avoid the hassle of changing planes somewhere.

You didn't ask, but if you want to keep a semi-luxurious spin on the trip without breaking the bank terribly, you might consider one way on MaxJet, the new service between London Stansted airport and JFK that uses all-business class 767s. The one-way price for May 8 is £453, or around US$800. Granted it's more than double the coach price, but it would be a lot of fun and way, way more comfortable than a typical coach seat across the pond. www.maxjet.com

I was thinking about the same as Gardyloo, but I forgot to mention it. I think the difference in price is small enough on an one-way ticket to test out Maxjet.

Do you think I should act now or wait a little to get the best prices?

No, I don't think you'll get non-stop fares close to the $379 the cruise company is offering. Just go ahead and book it with them.
