what is a Spanish for..

I am never sure what is a polite way to say something like :" here it is...." or " here you are"

when handing money , a boarding card , or something else to to someone...

you can say "tome" or "tenga"

lincasanova Sep 14th, 2008 10:38 AM

that is "toe---may" or ten-ga.

muchas gracias

I was not sure if using the imperative was polite enough.

no problem.you are really not saying "TAKE THIS!!!" but rather.. "here you are"...

or you can say "aquí tiene"

actually.. i donīt say anything to anyone when they ask for the boarding pass or train ticket.i just give it to them.
