What is a good website for Cinqueterre?
A few years ago I found an informative website for CT. It had an unusual name. Can anyone remember it?
|
Perhaps this one:
http://homepage.sunrise.ch/homepage/...erre/index.htm |
http://www.baranin.com/default.php?MainFile=home.php or
cinqueterreonline.com |
cinqueterrenet.com
|
Thanks for the websites. The one I'm looking for has something like "lizard" in the name.
|
|
Dang. Didn't work as a link. I'll check again.
|
It worked when I typed the entire address out, but not when I clicked on the address as a link.
BTW, I found this by going to Google and typing "lizard, cinque terre" in the search box. |
Thanks, Jean, but, I couldn't get it to work; typed or not. The name could have had "seaurchin" or something similar. I'll try the google route.
|
Well, there's a frequent poster here with the moniker "SeaUrchin." You could search her threads or send out a plea in a new thread: "Paging SeaUrchin re Cinque Terre!"
Good luck! |
Here's a lot of information I compiled about the CT, from Fodorites' comments:

In the travel section of this Sunday's NEW YORK TIMES, there was an article, "36 HOURS IN CINQUE TERRE", which was quite informative. You might want to do a search for it in the NYT archives.
|
The NYT "36 hours" article has been discussed on another thread. The concensus was that it was a nice 36-hour tour that would be more enjoyable over 72 hours. Not bad info, however.
