What is a "Full English Breakfast" ?

Can I expect Pastries and Coffee or Boiled Tomatoes and Tripe included with my nights stay ?

"English Breakfast" is something like eggs, ham , toast, coffee or juice, whereas "Continental Breakfast" is simply coffee or juice with a danish.

A full English breakfast usually consists of toast, boiled or broiled tomatoes, English bacon (like peameal bacon), sausage, and two fried eggs. If you're lucky you may also get a cheese and fruit plate. Enough to blast your cholesterol level sky high!!!

ADD to Carolyn's list (our B&B's breakfast): OJ/choice of dry cereal (cornflakes, muesli), sometimes a morsel of "fried bread" and on some mornings, mushrooms instead of the tomatoes! ( Don't know how some people eat it day after day!) And, of course, pots of tea! Enough for energetic sightseeing!

In my experience, a full English breakfast always includes baked beans. Cereal, juice, coffee or tea, eggs, toast, fried toast, broiled tomato, grilled mushrooms, and baked beans. It was one of my favorite things about living in the UK.
