What happened to ViaMichelin maps??

Well, I found the best street maps of Paris (IMHO). It was easy to print very detailed, easily readable street maps on the Via Michelin website. At least, it was easy to do so back in May! It appears that the website has changed and I'm having a devil of a time trying to figure out how to replicate its map-printing feature in full screen mode. Does anyone out in Fodorsville have any ideas? Thanks! EJ ((#))

I scroll down to the bottom and click on oldviamichelin.com Not sure if it is all still available - for a while it was.

Sure is a crappy new website and I don't like to use it.

Did you try the google maps? Search for Paris maps.

Just go to maps.google.com, type in gare du nord paris to amboise (for example), and see what happens.

ViaMichelin has certainly become pretty flaky. I have had some very odd results on expected driving time, trying to map out a trip in Greece. The worst example was trying to work out the distance between the 2 ends of the Vikos gorge by road. The distance came out at about 31km - the time to drive, almost 6 hours! I know we can't expect to speed round on mountain roads but we could almost walk it in that time.

Thanks very much for the suggestions. I had completely missed the old websites at the bottom of the page. Still, it doesn't look like the old maps are available any longer, which is a shame because they were wonderfully detailed and easy to read. Thanks again, EJ

I still use the old system but often use Google maps as well.
