I think it's nice that the type is supposedly adjustable, but why does the default size have to be so large? It was fine before. The problem is that I have AOL and AOL does not have a "View" menu at the top so the type cannot be changed, at least in any way I can figure out. AOL does use an IE browser, I think, but they can never leave things alone and overlay the regular browser bars with their own stuff and there is no "view" function on my setup (AOL 5.0) when I'm on the web. There are an awful lot of AOL users, and I notice Alma is on AOL also. If someone knows how to get that function on AOL to adjust this type size, I would be thrilled to know it, maybe there's a way and I don't know it. Also, I have a Netscape browser at work and when I access Fodors there, you can use the "View" but it changes both the type in the right and left frames and then the left frame is so tiny you can barely read it as it is smaller to begin with, not this large type on the right. The former font size which is still on the left size is fine, this large type on the right is very difficult and annoying to read IMO and it takes up too much space. I also think the default should be the normal size, not this large size, so most people would not have to do extra functions just to read the posts. Did you take a survey of users and find out a real percentage of people who wanted it to default to this larger size? If so, where do you do these user surveys, as I've never seen one although I often don't read the home page, that's true. Thank you for any help as I really find this large type the single most annoying thing you've ever done on the site.
