What European City has the most "energy"?
 

Yes, my first trip to Europe did involve a visit to 9 Cities in 20 days. I saw alot of places including: Lisbon, Madrid, Rome, Florence, Naples, Amsterdam, London, Paris, and Vienna. Each City had it's own charm, but I wonder which one had the largest crowds and energy. Maybe Madrid, or Rome.

Which European City has the highest energy level due to crowds, traffic, emotion and passion?

My energy is drining away by the minute. Since France has the most nuclear energy and Paris is probably radioactive, I wouldn't write it out of the energy contest. The crowds in Madrid and Rome are probably just because those countries can't afford to buy cars.

Sounds like you took a Globus tour....9 cities in 20 days..sounds about right. Please give up on your quest to ask our opinions on such trivial questions.

None of them, IMO, when compared to Tokyo...you really should go there, Guru...it is cleaner than any city in Europe, has better shopping, and the people are actually polite.

travelguru1, some people CAN get rude with no reason.. anyway, from the cities i've already visited i can vote London as number 1.
But tell us also which city YOU think has the 'highest energy'?
Dukey i would love to visit Tokyo but ..too expensive right now! :-)

We already know he doesn't like Europeans and thinks the food sucks. (his first trip was supposedly this whirlwind tour - but on another thread talks about his "last trip to Europe" and about the changes in European travel/costs in the last 30 years. I think many of us know who tg1 was last week . . . . )

Well lets see...the burning questions travelguru1 had in the past 24 hours since signing up at Fodor's are:

What European city has the most trees

Older men and women walking arm and arm in Madrid...whats the deal

Don't Europeans get tired of walking the streets all day and night

What European city has the most trees

Loved Europe but disliked the cold and unfriendly European people

Do you eat out for breakfast when traveling and staying at motels

Cruises do you watch TV in your cabin while cruising

What ever happened to the Days Inn Motel chain

Do you nap or rest in your hotel room during the day while traveling in Europe

Are there locally based chain restaurants in Europe

If your not a troll, that's the longest list of questions without any real point I've seen on the board by one poster...within a 24 hour period none the less.

I'm not trying to be rude but this board is used by most as a tool for travel planning and sharing information and experiences.

Paris, the city of lights. Mostly during the night.

Similar tone and format too.

Reykiavic, but only on Friday/Saturday nights.

London by far. Don't actually like the place to live in, but to visit it has the biggest buzz.

There is another post which asks which European city has the most trees. I am still counting but when that is done, we can cut them down and use the wood for energy.
