I usually go to sleep. A few times I couldn't get into my room so I had to wander around a little bit, feeling and doubtless looking pretty haggard, also finding it a little hard to take anything in as one might like to. So I try to get up around 6p so as to be able to do something in the evening before everything's closed and then sleep late the next day. Some people need a lot of sleep, I guess, and I'm one of them. I'd rather have a quality 4 hours of sightseeing, looking sharp and alert, than 10 sluggish ones. I know many people can keep up a strenuous pace looking great and at full intellectual capacity from dawn until well after dusk, but they are greater men and women than I am, and I've learned that it is folly on my part to try to imitate them too closely.

I can't sleep on the airplane, so I usually take a 1-2 hour nap, once I'm at my mother's house. My husband, however, who takes Halcyon and passes out on the plane heads straught to wherever he has to be and attends to his business appointments. He works for the US government (your tax dollars at work --- I think he's nuts).
