What does "sfr" mean? (making Swiss hotel reservations)

Hi all. You all have been wonderful in giving me suggestions for Swiss hotels.

What does a rate with "sfr" mean - does that mean it's the total price?

Doesn't it mean "Swiss francs"?

Yes, sfr means "Swiss Francs." Also abbreviated as "chf."

Have fun!

It is the currency - Swiss Francs. You can go here to convert the sfr to $$ (or any other currency).

100 Swiss francs = 88 U.S. dollars

Thanks, all. Some prices were quoted for rooms per person, so I thought maybe that meant it was the total rate for the room, and not per person.

And, yes, I realize how stupid that sounds as I type this.

Thanks again.
