Sometimes it seems to mean I Must Holler Opinions (at all costs)...

I'd somehow assumed it was supposed to mean "in my honest opinion".
In my opinion, if people can't be bothered to express themselves properly, then I can't be bothered to try to work out what they're trying to say.

Hello EmBee...IMO means "in my opinion", that is when does not feel they have a humble opinion ;;)

Or if somebody thinks his not so honest opinion will be uncovered :))

Humble? I find little humility among some Fodor posters -- although much is merited. IMHO, that is.
