what does HB & FB in Italy mean for hotels ?
I know in France HB is dinner & breakfast & FB means all three meals. But I wasn't sure if it means the same thing in Italy.
We will be in Northern Italy in the Bormio area in July, As I am trying to compare prices I just want to make sure I understand what I am looking at. Thank you all. |
Hi, I know than HB is Half board and FB is Full board so it might be the same for Italy hotels! :-)
(with HB you can usually chose between lunch and dinner) |
That's what I was assuming, but I was hoping that those with more experience with traveling in Italy would confirm that for me.
This will be my first time in Italy, previously I landed in Milan and drove immediately to France so I am unfamiliar with the Italian terms. |
Hi C,
You assumed correctly. It means the same in Italy |
Thanks Cambe, that's just what I needed. We're on a very tight budget so I would hate to make an expensive mistake by not understanding the hotel descriptions.
If I get it right that means fewer nights in a tent ;-) |
