Damiano from Mexico-- horrible stuff, horrible bottle. I must remember to dig it out of the back of the chest and toss it!

OTOH most things we bring back get consumed quickly. Cognacs from France, liquor from Spain, aged ruhms from the Carribean. We are probably the opposite of most, we have a few bottles with just one last drink in them as we can't bear to finish it and not have the instant memory any more.

Sweet, sweet nectar of the gods, AKA limoncello from Ravello, is currently residing in our freezer. But not for long.

The Balvenie Scots Whisky and the various wine bottles from our previous trips are long, long, long gone.

Pastis, Benedictine, B&B, Grand Marnier, Limoncello, a teensy bit of Chambord, Madeira, assorted sherries, peppermint schnapps (for making Snowballs), Kirschwasser (for fondue), and a bunch of other things that are too far at the back of the kitchen cabinet to reach.

Oh, blech. We have a bottle of genuine North Korean hooch in our bar, brought to us about 4 years ago by one of DH's friends who was on a US grain ship making runs to Pyongyang in the dead of winter.

There's a real snake jammed in the bottle, to boot.

You should've heard it when my Mom ran across it digging around for some single malt.
