What did you think of Naples in Italy?

Leely2: we also stayed at Hotel Piazza Bellini. I didn't enjoy that area.


dwdvagamundo: is Pozzuoli far from the center of Naples? What's it like?

Pozzuoli is very much under the radar. It is about 20 minutes from Naples by road, heading north and is connected by two train lines. You won't find this area touristy like Sorrento at the opposite end of the bay.

If you didn't like the historic centre, then try the Lungomare which is the links in my previous posts. Many grand hotels there and other hotels that fit a smaller budget.

I adore Naples. And I'm not going to visit anyone's blogs to make that decision -- I've been there.

Tuscanlifeedit we recently stayed at the Royal Continental on the Lungomare. It's a great area, clean and beautiful. The hotel itself was fine, not posh, but has gorgeous views over the Bay of Naples. We really enjoyed it.
