What country is Turcisce located in now?
 

I am tentatively scheduling a genealogy research trip for Fall 2007.

I have one record of my grandmother being from "Slovenia" and having lived in the city of "Turcisce." She was born in 1903.

In another record, she states her birthplace as "Miskolc" in Hungary. I know she was fluent in Hungarian, as were all her siblings.

I know these countries have changed boundaries many times. Can anyone tell me where they would be found today?

Miskolc is a fairly large city in Hungary -- still in Hungary.

Turcisce is now in Croatia.
