By the time I got back here I forgot who they said I was, Taiwan or Thailand In the description below they said I affect people even if they don't know me. Is this good or bad? I wonder in what way I affect them, should I be proud or embarassed. Anyway, CMT, thank you for all the fun!

Am I the only Liechtenstein??? Guess it's not bit enough for very many of us...
"Most folks don't take you that seriously, but you really make a big deal out of being independent. You don't do a whole lot for other people, but you make the best of the resources available to you. You really like snow. And mountains. And being independent. And you're probably pretty small."

I am supposedly one of the last places I would ever live -- Texas! (Although I don't mind visiting )

Maybe it's random?

I did it again and gave one different answer (about spicey food), which led to a different series of questions from the first time. Now, ta da, I'm Greece!
(which happens to be one of my very favorite places on earth)

Wise, old, and athletic, you used to be a big star, but now you've faded a bit into relative obscurity. While no one would go so far as to call you a ruin, you're definitely past your prime. You really would rather spend the day on a small island or a small boat than doing just about anything else. Though watching the games, whatever sorts of games they may be, is also appealing. Whatever you are, you're Greek to me.

Gee, I'm East Timor. Does that mean there is more than one Timor? I've honestly never even heard of it (guess I'll be getting my map out tonight! )
I'm small and lonely and have finally gotten free of a very bad situation. It seems like everyone was willing to rescue me, though the wait was excruciating for everyone to wake up and set me free. Now I'm still lonely, but happier in the loneliness since I never really liked people to begin with. And people respect me more than I really think they should, using me as an example for what they hope to accomplish.

Now I feel sorry for myself!!! And lonely!!

For Pete's sake, I'm Sudan. I could have gone all day without hearing that:

Every time you get a headache, you reach for some aspirin, only to realize that someone destroyed it. That's just how things are going for you right now... it's hard to eat, hard to sleep, hard to not have a headache. You try to relax, but people always jump on you about something that doesn't make sense. If you were a goat, you'd be a Nubian.

How cool! And I guess I am going to visit me next month! AWESOME!

>You're the United Kingdom!
You're a much weaker person than you used to be, but you still act like you did when everyone looked up to you. Despite this, you're probably a better person than you were when you had so much power over those around you. Though you do have a strange fascination with jewels and monarchs, which lets you play in castles, but also end up leading a sort of tabloid lifestyle. You really like the Beatles, even more than you like Oasis.

What in the world? Bosnia-Herzegovina!?!?
"You've just been through a big tragedy. You weren't sure you were going to make it at all. Now that you have, there's a lot to pick back up in your life, and not enough people are helping you. You just wanted a little more freedom, a chance to be away from those who thought poorly of you. Now it's time to build up some confidence, and it looks like you have a good chance at that. But you'll need a lot of therapy."
Not even close...I hope!

Hey Holly, I'm United Nations also. Think I'll use the logo on my future correspodence! Maybe it will impress my friends. Not sure how we got here but I think it could be a lot worse.

I'm Fiji!!!
To be honest, first I was Ireland but I prefered something more exotic. Changed one answer and ... Fiji it is.

Analysis of the quiz, for anyone who cares:

You've probably noticed that what you answer to the first question determines what will be presented to you as question #2, and that each answer you choose determines what the next question will be. People who come out as the same country answered exactly the same questions AND had the same answer to all the questions, including the last one. It seems to me that if you answered in #1 that you have a GOOD quality of life, your subsequent questions are mostly pretty mild innocuous ones, whereas if you answered that your quality of life is NOT necessarily so good or could be better, you probably got some more strange or disturbing questions after that.

People who said they have a GOOD quality of life, came out as Thailand, Canada, Italy, UK, Sweden, Spain, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, Texas, Taiwan, Costa Rica, Turkey, Colombia, Lebanon, among other places.
People who did NOT say they had a good quality of life (I think that option was "could be better&quot came out to be Iraq,, Bosnia-Herzegovina, China, Pakistan, India, North Korea, Cuba, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Libya, Sudan, among others.

At work (slow day) some people experimented with various combinations of answers and found the above results. One thing that I found interesting to do (not at work, really), as a test of how well I knew some people, was to re-take the quiz and give, not MY answers, but the ones that I guessed a particular co-worker or friend or internet acquaintance might give, and to see whether the country I came up with was the one that they got when they did the test themeselves. Quite a few times, when I did this, I came up with the "correct" result. Scary! However, I'm still mystified how one of my friends came up with Malta; I cannot figure out what combination of replies produces that result.

Hey sfowler!

I'm France too - and couldn't be happier! Sometime we'll have to meet at a favorite 7th arrondisement haunt and discuss all things French!

cmt, I've been fooling around with it, too, and to be Malta you have to answer "yes" to the final question, "Do you wear a cross?"

Nothing I tried even led to a question about a cross, though. What did you have to answer to the first question? (This is someone who's a friend, so it's amazing I can't get even close. I feel like I'm flunking some test of intuition, though I DID guess quite a few other people's countries.)

Correction to my "analysis" post above: Lebanon is on the list of countries of people who did nOT say they had a good quality of life. (I typed it into the wrong list.)
