What can I buy for a gift under 100Euros?

I am a mom and grandma who likes to buy gifts for my family when I travel - this time, because I'll be in France, I'd love to have some ideas, especially for my darling 33 yr old clotheshorse daughter! I don't want to spend over 100E & I definitely want to get her something that is made in France - does anyone have any ideas and perhaps where to shop as well? I also have a 7 yr old and 10 yr old granddaughters - ideas for them would be great as well! Thanks a bunch!

A scarf for the clotheshorse.

Granddaughters are too hard. You have to know what they like.

A French Perfume(s) is such a luggage storage-saving, lovely present! I so enjoyed shopping for perfumes with my sister at Le Printemps Department Store in Paris. I recently read on the paper that prices for French perfumes in Paris were at an all time low due to recession. For your grandaughters, there are very nice and very French hair accesories at Galeries Lafayette department store in Paris.

Where in France are you going? There are cities, i.e. Lyon, from where a small silk scarf (best silk scarves in France!) would be a perfect present.

Just go into a nice dept store and look around, there are ten bazillion things under that price. YOu could get her a nice scarf, that is very French, but you will have to be sure it is made in France. Go to Bon Marche, they have lots of chic things (although a lot are from Italy, at least in the purses). Besides, you might as well get something with a label that will impress someone (like Bon Marche or Galerie Lafayette) and show it is from Paris. YOu can get silk scarves at dept stores for around 50-75 euro. It's not clothes, but you could get her some Annick Goutal perfume, I really like that (I like Gardenia), they sell that in Bon Marche (and elsewhere). A silk scarf may not be what an American 33 year old wants, though, we don't wear them so much in the US. You can maybe get a simple top for less than 100 euro by some French designer like Celine or Agnes B., you can get those labels in Galeries Lafayette or Bon Marche.

I love to get my gifts at Fragonard. (One location on Blvd St Germain and one I believe in the 1st.) Perfume, napkins, fun cosmetic bags, pillow cases, clothing, salad tongs, the works. Well-made, fun, unique gifts.
