What are the Symptoms of Mad Cow Disease

Judging from some of your posters, Fodors, these long-time travellers may be suffering from the "disease" you get in Europe, and don't know you have it until your brain turns to mush,as it seems to have done is so many queries and responses here. Best advice from me is, don't eat any meat anywhere in the civilized world--especially in Paris, where most of the citizens there are already in advanced stages of the disease. If you have eaten meat, recently, go immediately to the Health Department, for a shot that may difuse the symptoms.

Thanks, Esther, but I'm too far gone. That must be why I like Paris!

A vegan militant... great.

Go spread your ill-concieved, half-witted ideas someplace else, or I'll have a nice, big, fat, juicy, fat-and-nitrosamine-laden, mad cow free t-bone steak.

On second thought, I'll do that anyway...

Well, the first thing you notice is that the "mad" cow will not give milk and hisses at the milker person, and then there are the tantrums because the milkers hands are too COLD! This really makes the cows mad.Another thing that really makes them angry is the bull showing affection to several cows of the same herd..really "bovineistic" and "udderly" ridiculous. No wonder the poor things are mad.

A compelling desire to hang out near a lot of chocolate chip or Oreo cookies.

An inexplicable urge to cavort freely in a pasture, preferably in Switzerland or Wisconsin.

I hear that one of the symptoms is victims actually give money to the gypsies outside the Rome train station. Also, victims, in the early stages, go to Italy not even caring what kind of clothes they wear or shoes they bring.

I thought you could tell a Mad Cow because it wore a tinfoil hat to block the CIA's radio waves.

Mad Cow: Those are the ladies, two tons or more, who frequent most eating establishments, grocery stores, airports, etc., and they take up most the room , then complain if you dare to ask them to step aside so you can pass. Yes: MAD COW```!@@
