What are the best agencies for Apartment Rentals in Rome?

I am planning a trip to Rome in November. What are the best agencies? Has anyone stayed in a nice place in central Rome recently?

www.sleepinitaly.com seems quite popular for Rome. I rented from them in March and was pleased.

Also, see various rental reviews at www.slowtrav.com.

Good luck. :)

Great experience also with www.sleepinitaly.com

Look for apartments that suit your needs in the Campo de Fiori, Piazza Farnese, Navona or Pantheon area ....lots going on there and well located for touring "the sights".

Yes I know those areas. I was in Rome 7 years ago. I was looking for an apartment because I thought I would get more space than a tiny hotel room.

Richard, I've used realrome.com (a cheapie but great location) and Underground Viaggi. Was very happy with both, but of course when you rent an apartment you need to investigate as thoroughly as you can and then adjust your expectations accordingly.

Happy hunting.

I stayed here, cant beat the location, and the apartment was great also. About 20 yards from the Pantheon.

I'm renting an apartment in Rome from ItalyPerfect in April. It has been favorably reviewed on slowtrav.com and all communications with the owner of the agency have been great so far.

While I have never rented an apartment in Rome, the one in this posting (from the sleepinitaly website) looks quite good to me:

And I have a favorable opinion of www.domani-usa.com even if I have never stayed in a city property that they represent.

Best wishes,

Rex
