Hi all,
I will be in England and Scotland from Ocotber 1-October 11. I need to know what the weather is usually like so I can plan my packing, and figure out what kind of jacket I need. regular or a rain jacket with inner linning.

Similar to New England, Chicago or Vancouver. You should certainly prepare for the possibility of rain and/or blustery weather.

I am guessing that "pritygrljg" makes reference to your two X chromosomes - - so I will not be foolish enough to give you advice about shoes.

You will almost certainly need *comfortable* walking shoes - wherever you are, you will probably be walking further than you think. If you're thinking of walking anywhere other than along city streets or from a bus to a museum, then a good pair of hiking shoes/boots might be in order...
