From fig cakes to the most mouth-watering hazelnuts you'll find all this and much more in the quaint old village of Selcuk, just outside of Ephesus and nearby Cave of the Seven-Sleepers.
On Saturdays gear-up for the bazzarr, and small shops that sell everything from Kodak films, Borek (pastry filled meats) and Baklava at the bakery's around the town and across from the Museum. Behind the Museum is some shops close-by that sell souveniers from Turkish teacups to bangles all at affordable prices. So have fun, not just in the big cities but in the small town of Selcuk.
