We will be arriving into Venice on May 31. I see that Sunday June 2 is a public holiday? What will not be open? How will we be restricted? We will be there Fri afternoon and leave on Monday afternoon. I want to plan wisely. What will not be open?
We planned to go to the Jewish Ghetto, roam around and do some churches, shopping and have a nice dinner and do a gondola ride that night.
Any problems with that?
My son will be taking the train back to Siena. Will he have any problems traveling?
Thanks
Debby

I found this sparse information on a web site called Festivals.com. I am also curious as to what effect this will have on openings and closings since I also arrive in Rome on 02 June 2002.
