We'll be in Bled this weekend...
 

Any chance that this is the change of foliage time in this area?

We were there ten days ago and the leaves had been changing for about a week. I imagine they'll still be beautiful for this weekend. BTW, don't forget to rent a rowboat and head out to the island church. It was about $10 for an hour and one of the many highlights of our trip. The gelato outside the church wasn't bad either :) Maybe Slojan can give you a better update since she lives right down the highway from Bled.

hey, sardog...you're back?!

I was just in Bled today and it is beautiful. I would say near the end of the season, but if they weather is good, you will see some color. For me, though, the most beautiful colors there are the juxtaposition of the water, earth and then, leaves. Very beautiful area and yes, we have snow on the mountain peaks to complement it all!
