Weekend to Dusseldorf, Presidents Day, for $431 - - nobody interested?

I would still very much like to see if anyone has the impulse to travel and earn a LOT of miles on NWA by joining in on a "Great Race" team with me!

Of course, there are many other ways to participate in this - - but aren't there any other Fodorites with "impulse travel" in their blood?

I'm actually going to be in Germany and London that long weekend.

Unfortunately I don't fly NW. Very very rarely. It's not convenient for New York departures. I stick to AA or Delta.

I am still so torn about this - - even with only 7 days out, this still can be purchased at this amazing fare (though my current schedule would only permit about 24 hours on the ground).

Anybody else up for a road trip?
