I would be happy to! Here is Francesco's website -
https://www.francescomarrapese.com/my-car
He is charming. His vehicle is spotless and luxurious. He knows the area so well and will customize a trip that works well for you. Tour ideas are on his website but he can modify based on your goals. I am SO glad we went this route instead of driving or a big tour bus on those zig zag roads.

LoveItaly spoke so highly of him. I am happy to pass on her recommendation.

It almost felt like she was along with us. ((f))

I can vouch for Francesco. He took us from the train station in Napoli to Positano. He even set us up for a great dinner in the hills above Positano.

An update of sorts: I see that travel to Italy is not yer recommended (CDC) but a lot can change in a couple of months. I somehow doubt Verona is going to cancel again this year given the very definite economic impact of not having as many as 15,000 people in town eating, shopping, and occupying hotel rooms on an almost daily basis for a couple of months. However, we have made alternative arrangements and reservations in the US for the period should we be decide not to travel at all. We will not go if masks are required (and we are definitely PRO-mask folks). So now we wait to see what develops.

Not only is travel to Italy not yet recommended... it isn't currently possible for U.S. tourists. The Italian government hasn't announced when U.S. tourists will be allowed entry, and, as neckervd noted in another thread, less than half of the population of Western Europe is expected to be vaccinated by the end of July.

2/11/21 update from the U.S. Embassy in Italy:

https://it.usembassy.gov/covid-19-information/

As of yesterday, about 3.5% of the population of Italy has received at least the first dose of a Covid vaccine and 2.2% have received both doses. Better than some countries in Europe but well under half the vaccination rates for the U.S. overall.

Belated grazie to Starrs. Will check with our tech expert about the digital Scrabble for you.

I am done. The week.

Belated grazie to Starrs. Will check with our tech expert about the digital Scrabble for you.

The digital Scrabble source was the 'Classic Words' games menu, available for free through Google's 'Play Store'.
Good idea to use the airplane mode in order to avoid commercial ad bombardment.
Also good idea to play in the nude.

I am done. The word.

The only nude Scrabble I know of is Strip Scrabble.

You are very welcome. But wait! How did this get connected to digital Scrabble, much less Strip Scrabble?!

I do have a recommendation for a private driver in Greece (thanks, Challiman!) but as nice as Constantine is, I don't want to connect Francesco or Constantine to Strip Scrabble! :-O

This is how rumors get started.

Before you commit to playing strip scrabble, beware of boys who might have an extra "take it all off" Z tile up their sleeve for the old switcherooo.....

Starrs, on a different post you'd asked for that Scrabble logistcal info. I'd promised to provide it, so here it was. Knowing our Dukey to be a good sport, I didn't think they'd mind the brief diversion here.
That's how come why.
I am done. The detour.

starrs Feb 25th, 2021 06:40 AM

LOL, J62!
Okay, zebec. I was lost there for a while.
Now I'll never look at a Scrabble board the same way again.
