Hi all,
We are going to a wedding in July near Strasbourg (100 km) and are planning in renting a car after the marriage, for about 10 days. What would be your itinerary?

Don't miss: Obernai, Mont Sainte Odile, Haut Koenigsbourg. I also recommend Nancy and Metz in Lorraine. For a chilling experience, visit Le Struthof, the only Nazi death camp that was situated on French soil, in an idyllic setting in the Vosges mountains.

I recommend Nancy as well -- there is a fabulous little Beaux Arts museum on the main square, for example. And for a place to stay (and eat very well), the Chateau d'Adoménil near Lunéville (East of Nancy) is fabulous. It also costs less than half what you'd pay for an equivalent place in Paris, Provence or La Cote d'Azur: www.adomenil.com.

The battlefields of Verdun are also very moving.
