Wed - Sat in Provence based in Goult priorities?

My husband, myself, and our 14 year old daughter will be driving Wednesday July 16th from Vence to Goult. We will have all day Thursday and Friday with our car to explore Provence. We will return our car sometime Saturday and take the TGV to Paris. I think my daughter may like to jump off the cliffs at Pont du Gard. We generally like some adventure / hikes on our trips and thought this might appeal to her. Stu Dudley what which drives would you prioritize from your wonderful itinerary? Thanks so much for everyone's help.

1. Do the "Luberon village" drive on one day.

2. Do the "Lavender Fields Drive" around Sault - including Simiane la Rotonde, & Gorges de la Nesque.

Actually, you could visit the wonderful farmer's market in Carpentras early on Friday morning, and then do the Lavender Fields drive in reverse.

I can't imagine going to Provence and not including a market day somewhere in the area, it would certainly be one of our priorities. The markets are always in the morning and shut down by 12:30 am or so. Not sure you could jump off any cliffs at the Pont du Gard--there aren't any but you could canoe or kayak under the bridge in gentle waters.

Being the middle of July and likely the height of the lavender season, it would be(and is) on our priority list.

Any of the weekly markets in the Luberon would be popular with a teenage girl because they are colorful and offer fun shopping. Our favorite Luberon villages were Gordes, Bonnieux and Roussillon.

Since you are staying in Goult, do not miss eating dinner at La Bartavelle. It was one of our favorite meals in France.

I know the peak time for the lavendar bloom is late June to August -- are any in bloom in mid May?

We are possibly going to be in that region and I think it would be so beautiful -- although it seems we will be just a little too early!

Nope - not in mid May. Probably not even in mid June.
