Website for European Airport Hotels

Does anyone have any leads on websites that are dedicated (at least partially) to finding hotels at or near major european airports. I realize I might be able to find this information at the website of the airport/major city in question but this is not always so. For example, if you did not know that Paris-CDG was in Roissy you would be out of luck. And as for Milian's Malpensa airport I still can not find anything. Anyway, any information would be helpful

I think you could probably do fairly well by typing a city name and then airport hotel into a search engine. Some hotel bookers let you mark near airport in a search, but I can't recall which ones. Anyway, I used to know of a site that did do that (www.airwise.com), but I think they've changed their format and now it is no good for that. At least I can't get anything useful out of it -- it used to be that if you searched on that web site under airports, then Europe, then a particular airport, you'd get a complete list. I saved the URL for CDG Paris (http://www.airwise.com/airports/euro.../CDGhotel.html), for example, but now that same URL (which used to only list CDG hotels) simply funnels you into an overall Paris hotel booking site (Hotel Reservation Network) which gives you hotels throughout Paris.

Hi Christina, I used the airwise.com site lots of times and directed others to it too. Just noticed that the format is different now and it's not nearly as useful as it used to be. Maybe there's another one that will group all CDG airports together instead of dumping into a general Paris site. Too bad it changed formats.

It's easy with expedia.com. Go to Hotels. Before you put in your requirements, click on "More Hotel Search Options", under the dates of stay, etc. You'll get a new window. Click on "Near a Place". New window again. Click on "Near an Airport" and enter airport or city name.

If you're looking for a place to stay near Malpensa, several posters have recently recommended a place called Villa Malpensa or something like that. If you put in "Malpensa" in the search block you should be able to bring up some those recent posts.
