Website for distances in Germany?
 

I would appreciate it if someone would be so kind of as to steer me to a website that gives the distances and/or driving time between cities and towns in Germany. Thanks in advance.

Make sure not to schedule your travel too tight. Major traffic jams are not an uncommon occurrence on Germany freeways. I don't know why this happens so badly there, but I have been stuck in several. I don't say this to worry you, as it has never caused us significant problems. I just wanted to let you know so that you wouldn't be surprised!

The advice from hljlaw shouldn't be glossed over, based on on at least one anecdotal personal experience I can cite. For thirty minutes, driving 170 kph, and then next thing you know, 30 minutes of driving 20 kph - - inching over several kilometers of bumper to bumper jam - - and just like in the US it just suddenly clears up, and you get no clue as to what might have caused it.
