Web Site for Reserve tickets for San Marco Basilica
 

Someone was helpful enough to post the web site to reserve tickets for the Basilica at San Marco in Venice. When I reserved the tickets it said they could not send them via email.

I did, however, get a print out of the confirmation. IS this enough or do I need to go back and be sure to get the emailed tickets?

Also, could that kind person please repost the site for me? I tried to look back and find the original post but, being the Fodorite addict I have become, I can not find it among all of my posts.

Hello Dejais - I prebooked for St Marco last summer - sorry can't remember the site address, but all I needed was the printout - you have to leave any largish bags and coats etc at a special check-in room in a little street to the left of the Basilica entrance - anyone on duty will give you directions - only 30 seconds walk! - then just go in via the tour group entrance which again you'll be directed to if you ask - no-one bothered to look at my printout but take yours with you just in case! Enjoy your visit - it's such a special place.
