Web pages to "see" currency, not convert it.

Is there a web sight that has pictures of the currency in each country?

Life is a little short of excitement in Indiana (my "original" home state) - - maybe this explains Ron Wise's Geographical Directory Of World Paper Money - - http://aes.iupui.edu/rwise/notedir/mappage.html - - more images than you can shake a stick at!

And of course, I have no life here in Ohio either - - sitting here looking through these! I hated it when they retired this one: http://aes.iupui.edu/rwise/banknotes...e/fra154_f.jpg

Thank you, Rex. As a "buckeye" who now lives in the Hoosier state, this was getting spooky!! Seriously, the sight you mentioned is wonderful but not quite what I had in mind. I found the French francs, etc on smartweb.fr/paris/ and was hoping that another web sight had them set up similiarly. We wanted to be able to print out the currencies for Liras, Escudos, Drachmas, etc. Thanks for your help.

Hope someone comes up with a good answer because I'd also like to know what things look like before I get to a new country and have to tip, etc.

Andrea:

What do you mean "hope someone comes up with an answer?" I posted the good answer - - it's the website http://aes.iupui.edu/rwise/notedir/mappage.html - - has just about every imaginable kind of money shown there, front and back!

Thanks, Rex, for that webpage. That, and Larry Bird, make Indiana a great state.

Printing out pictures of money? Odd. Should I suspect a bit of counterfeiting going on?

Thank you Rex for sharing that fantastic webpage!! I spent hours one day trying to find something like that. I don't know who Ron Wise is but I sure thank him for taking the time to provide this for our help and use! I, too, like to be familiar and get to actually "see" the currency of the country before I try to use it. Thanks Moibelle for your post requesting this.
