weather in the British Isles/Baltics
In mid July we will be traveling the British Isles(Ireland,Scotland,Norway, Denmark) & the Baltics (Finland,Sweden, Germany, St Petersburg,Russia, & Estonia. We will be gone for 30 days. What kind of clothing should we pack? What will the temperatures be like that time of year? We dont want to overpack, yet we dont want to bring all the wrong stuff. HELP!!

With the UK, you just can't tell.
Last week London temperatures were nudging 30 C and today it's 20 and raining.
In July, it's unlikely to be cold, but a light jacket would be handy. You must also have some sort of rain covering, perhaps a light folding raincoat.

I did a two week Baltic cruise in 2000 - it was magnificent. The weather was perfect, in my opinion - the warm days were probably between 65 and 75 F with the occasional higher or lower temp. I wore pants and short-sleeves and brought a sweater at each port.

today in london...warm when i went into the office...major hale storm mid afternoon, probably warmer but it felt about 8.
i've also been in the baltics last year around the same time and i would bring:
-trouser (lighter weight and medium weight or jeans).
-light wool jumper/sweater
-fleece pullover with zipper at the neck
-rain resistant light jacket.
-light/medium dinner jacket
-cotton long sleeve dress type shirt
-dark t shirt
-leather shoes
that would get me comfortably through 95% of the weather in all countries mentioned.
i'm sure you will get a lot of responses about your characterisation of what countries are part of the british isles and the baltics so i won't bother.
