I am in Paris right now and the weather is beautiful. Sunny and in the mid 50s. The weather report looks like more of the same for most of this week.

Like most places, you can't be sure what it will be like until you wake up in the morning! I returned from 2 weeks in Paris on Friday. It was scheduled to rain every single day. We ended up with beautiful sunshine at least part of each day, only a couple of drizzly days and one good shower. It was wonderful!

I took a black microfiber raincoat with zip out lining and a few silk undershirts. The lining came out the first day and the silks never made it out of the closet of the apartment!

Regarding your color question, I noticed this trip more beige coats, as well as browns, grays and, yes, even pastels (light blue, especially). Also, lots of jeans tucked into high boots (warning: attempt this look only if you are under 30 and skinny) but also sneakers on everyone of every age--Pumas are big, but anything goes--except white.

Just don't forget your scarf!

Have a wonderful trip!

Going back in 3 weeks and

Yesterday, my daughters and I had lunch on a terrace and we were wearing tee-shirts ! But today, it is colder, yet sunny. Bring raincoats and sweaters in any case.
