Weather in October in Paris?

What will the weather be like in Paris during the last two weeks in October?

I think it can be rather iffy. I was there 2 years ago in October, the third week. It rained an awful lot. The temperature was around 55 -60, but the rain really put a damper (no pun intended) on walking around and enjoying the outdoor sights. The last day the sun came out and was absolutely a gorgeous fall day. I would definitely take a few sweaters, dress in layers, a raincoat and an umbrella. IMHO, anytime is a good time in Paris.

Plan on sweater/raincoat or lightweight winter coat and umbrella; gloves; hat.

60's, rainy, damp. Oh, and then it's 68 and sunny (typical Gallic orneriness)...plan for the worst, hope for the best.

I live in Germany and Paris weather is pretty much exactly the same as where I live. In October, my guess would be 40's-low 60's. The weather can change very drastically!
