Weather in Nice in June & September

We're ending our planned trip in Nice & can go either in June or the 3rd week of September. We are using this as an opportunity to sit out (not necessarily swim) and sun. Which month is better? Thanks!

June - daylight hours are longer. Summer is starting to wrap-up the third week of Sept.

June is hot. We were there this summer and it hit 105 F. No ac in rented apt. Needed two fans to survive at night. If we did it again, we would go in Sept.

Actually (this won't help you), both months are fine. My general inclination is with Stu, but as jkbritt points out, you're more likely to run into hot weather then also. As my late mum used to say, 6 of one, half a dozen of the other.

That's odd. We've spent 16 weeks on the Cote - mostly in June & it has never been that hot. We were just a tad north in Provence for the last 2 weeks in June this year, and it was quite cool for about a week - too cool to dine outside at night for a couple of those days. I wore long pants during the daytime a couple of times - which I never do if it is above about 65F. I don't think it got much above 85 anytime then.

If you look at the average temps - June & Sept are the same. Actually, Sept is 1 degree warmer. 74 high & 62 low (June).
