WEATHER IN MID MARCH
 

AM THINKING OF GOING TO IRELAND IN LATE MARCH FOR FIRST TIME(GREAT DEALS). WHAT CANI I EXPECT IN THE WAY OF WEATHER. SHOULD I WAIT AND SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY TO GO IN THE SUMMER

Depending on where you are from, March is not that bad. I am going the 1st 2 weeks in April , and am expecting mid-50's for highs , and high 30's for lows. <BR>Being from Wisconsin - this is not a big deal. <BR>Besides I willingly trade spring/late fall weather for less crowds. If you are planning on driving - less crowded roads are a VERY BIG PLUS!

I'm in Ireland. Someone has already posted a link about weather but if the price is a big difference i would come in March. You could end up coming in Summer and getting rain anyway. I'd nearly put my wages on that ;-)

Still spring in Match so it could be showery and less cool than summer. But there's no guarantee that weather in summer is going to be any better, this past June was particularly wet and cold for that time of year for example. The other thing to consider is that while days won't be particularly short in March you will have more daylight hours in summer, it's a personal choice whether this is of any consequence to you or not.
