We were there on our honeymoon in May of 1996 and went swimming. It was the end of May though. The water was cool but the sun was out the whole time. Nice beach is all rocks, you know. Cannes beach is beautiful sand. Go swimming and enjoy yourself

I was in Nice, <BR>Cannes, Monaco at the end of April, and almost no one was in the ocean. A few brave souls were in bathing suits trying to get tanned, but were sheltered behind rocks to stay out of the wind.<BR><BR>So late May beats early May.<BR><BR>Enjoy your visit.<BR><BR>BAK<BR><BR>
