Weather in March - any hope for a beach vacation?

I'm going to Europe mid-to-late March. I'm planning on spending some time in Prague, but was also hoping to spend a few days on the beach. Would there be any beach in Europe that would be warm enough at the end of March? Thanks.

no, Europe is too far north, it isn't remotely near the tropic of Cancer, for example, which is where Caribbean islands and the Yucutan peninsula are.

If you don't mind being on the beach if it is around 65-70 F, Greece would be the best bet, of course, as it has some islands that are the farthest south.

Another option is southern Spain for walking n the beach weather. Swimming weather in March - not in europe - only in the Carib or Asia.

For perspepctive - Madrid and Rome are about on a line with New York.

Greece is much colder in spring than the Western part of the Medierranean. The South of Spain would be your best bet, or the Canary Islands.

Yes, the canary islands would be the best bet...but it is a 3 hours and a half flight to get there from Spain...so maybe around 6 hours to get them from Prague :)

I meant to get them from the peninsula ..not from Spain, of course the canary islands are also Spain :)
