Weather In Italy

What kind of weather can I expect in early October throughout Italy?

Kay Sep 10th, 2002 02:05 PM

check out this average temp chart, it should answer your questions.

http://www.affordablegate1tours.com/...ther/italy.htm

Cold in the northern mountains, freezing at higher altitudes.
Cool in the central area from Tuscany through Campania.
Pleasant days and cool nights farther south.
Rain occurring only 20 percent or less of the time.

First of all, are you talking early or late October? Also, what part of Italy. We spent one early October at Lake Como and Milan and the weather was beautiful, mostly in the high 50s, low 60s....some days in leather jackets, other days in shirtsleeves.
