Weather in Europe?

I'll be studying abroad in Spain from Feb to June. I know it'll be cold, but how cold? I'm from Florida, USA, so you can just imagine :)

I heard about 40s and 50s - is this about right?

Spain has several differrent climates and obviously the temps in Feb wil be cdompletely different than in June.

(Once in April it was high 80's in the south and over 90 by the time we got to Madrid in early May.)

So you will have to be prepared for a whole variety of temps - from almost winter in Madrid (but you can ski in places in the mountains) to hot as hell.

Try www.wunderground.com/ for details.

Or weastherbase.com or worldclimate.com (for historical weather info); as nytraveler.com indicated, a lot depends on where in Spain, and especially... what elevation. I know that this is a foreign concept to those in Florida, but it's a natural part of the way werather gets reported in, say... Sacramento. The weather "in the valley (delta)" is totally different from the weather at 1500 feet (elevation), from the weather at 3500 feet, even though they may be only 30-40 miles apart.

Best wishes,

Rex

Which part of Spain will you be? In Madrid, winter can be 5-10C, June is already early summer, so about 20-30C. BTW, European standard is to use Celsius instead of Fahrenheit.
