I'll be in Italy this January...does anyone know how the weather will be in Venice, Florence and Rome?
|
exactly what days?
|
I'll be in Italy the last week of January Venice to be exact...any and all information would help as fare as weather goes...
|
no sarcasm intended, but the weather will probably be cold, unless it isn't.
I can only suggest that you check any of several weather websites, especially those that have historical weather information--at least those can give you an idea about January averages. |
uuhhhh, LOL!
sinatra, if you google "weather Italy" you will get many sites that can give you historical info for previous years. That's about the best anyone can do. |
Tuesdays are usually colder than Thursdays, which are generally wetter than Sundays, which are often sunnier than Saturdays, which can be stormier than Fridays. That's for Venice - you're on your own with Florence and Rome, which tend to be foggier and balmier on respective Sundays.

I guess you could "google it" - - but the two best statistical weather sites seem to be www.worldclimate.com and www.weatherbase.com - - IMO.
No matter how your actual experience differs from the statistical averages, it will be "wintery", in a word. I realize that some visitors her live in areas that never really experience "wintery". If you're one of those and want to know how to behave or dress in "winter weather", then you'll need to ask more explicitly. StCirq, that was priceless!!!
