Hey Susan! thanks for the vikings post, it actually is worth saving!
as much as I hate these obnoxious posters, the vikings one made me laugh out loud ! it's not just a simple stupid question like this one, she just kept going on and on! from having to wear the helmets with the braids, to converting her money to Scandanavian dollars, to not being able to speak Scandanavian! then she goes oh by the way, we'll be in Amsterdam while in Scandanavia ! |
mveet, Yes, I do not consider the Viking thread a troll. A troll asks a question or brings up a subject which they think will be controversial just to get people stirred up and to see how many people they can suck into the discussion. The Viking thread was just for FUN and made lots of people laugh.

DH wears his cowboy boots here in Ireland. Boots made in America, DH made in Ireland.

We enjoyed the trip to europe very much and hope to be able to go back someday. My husband did fine sightseeing in his cowboy boots and we did see a few others wearing them.

Thanks for posting an update to let us know. I'm glad all was well.

Glad to hear you had a wonderful trip and that everone was comfortable with what they ended up wearing.

I just returned from London and Paris. They are selling cowboy boots in most of the shoe stores. They seem to be very popular now.

Let him wear his cowboy boots and you can wear your Uggs. :D

When I was in London this past week I saw many English girls wearing cowboy boots usually with the prarie skirts popular in the US about 1972. I don't remember seeing any men wearing the cowboy boots. I also saw girls wearing skirts over jeans. You have to be very thin to make that work.

Glad everything worked out and you didn't let the fashion police on this site discourage your husband from wearing his cowboy boots. |
