What is "STFU"?

"Roll-with-the-punches traveler" is almost funny in this context. And envisioning family reunions on the other side of the wall is a useful -- and even morally necessary -- exercise I think. I hope you'd all be as supportive of Venezuela's happy family reunion if you found out her son was screaming on a barricade to stop the bombing or refusing to serve.

Rome, Italy
(WAPA) - The New Alitalia's first flight, AZ205, will take off tomorrow January 13th at 6:00 am from Heathrow Airport and will land on Rome-Fiumicino at 9:30 am.

Absolute debut for the new airline born from the merger between Alitalia and AirOne, despite if some doubts remain considering the operational stop ordered tonight by ENAC (Italian Civil Aviation Authority) for the necessary procedures of insurance authorization and certifications for the airplanes of the New Alitalia (not including the AirOne's fleet), a work that will involve about 50 ENAC inspectors for seven-eight hours.
In a time in which there are few certainties, the risk of an employees' agitation is not excluded.

Hi all!
(This post got lost somewhere in cyberspace. It should precede my last post)

Today we spent the afternoon at the Mahane Yehuda outdoor market in Jerusalem. It was wonderful to say the least. Pommegranites the size of your head! and Jews and Arabs working side by side, calling out there wares in loud singsong voices.
So last night we surprised our son!
We went to his hotel and his guides asked him to please come out of a meeting (they has spent the whole day at the Holocaust Museum and they were having a sharing session).
So out he came and of course, I was bawling and he was in shock--teary-eyed and giggling and we all hugged and kissed.
Mamaw-Thanks for thinking of us...
Tomorrow we're off the the Old City and the Western Wall.
And thanks to all of you for your kind words and wishes.
V

V - now isn't hugging your son better than a good pasta and vino?

V-I think ending this is going to take more than prayer. Hope you find time to squeeze in a visit to this wall too:

Well, Air France-KLM just bought a 25% stake in the new company today, before taking control in 3 years (legal waiting period).

They got it much cheaper than their previous offer many months ago.

Zeppole-
Since the wall was built, terrorist attacks and suicide bombings have been reduced about 95%.
It was not built to hurt innocent civilians--it was built to keep Israeli citizens safe. And it is working...
