Jill, I can’t advise any particular place. But if there is a queue hanging out the door, and if you are starving, then go for it.
One place that we patronised is in Campo Margherita. Walk towards Academe, and as you leave the campo, towards the Pont de Pugni, there is a place on the corner, on your right. It is quite small. They fed us often!

Anne, it’s certainly La Bitte. On the south side, on a corner, no fish, heaps of assorted dead animal. I’ll confirm in November, and yes, it will feel like coming home.
